Synchronising Beds24.com with your 9flats calendar

Limitations
- Past bookings are not imported.
- We can only export a room price. You need a room price for the max. occupancy the room can accommodate.
Setup
Price and calendar updates are instant through the API. Bookings are imported via Ical.
Export Inventory and Prices to 9Flats
You need an API key from 9Flats. To request your API key log into your 9Flats account and go to this link: https://www.9flats.com/client_applications. When you are granted API access 9Flats will give you a Client ID.
We can only export a room price. If required you can set an extra person price directly in 9Flats.
- Enter your 9Flats Key into the field "API Key".
- Enter your 9Flats place ID in the field "Place ID".
- Map your rooms by entering the 9Flats Place Id into the field for the corresponding Beds24 room.
- Tick the Inventory and Prices checkboxes to make your Beds24 availability calendar available to 9flats and save.
If you are using this method you can ignore the "Import Calendar (Inventory)". If you are upgrading the connection from the previous Ical connection delete the Beds24 calendar URL from My Places -> Calendar in your 9Flats account.
Prices can have a multiplier applied to prices if the 9Flats currency is different to the Beds24 currency.
The multiplier is defined by adding a "*" symbol followed by the multiplier to the Place ID, for example 123456*1.234 means the Place ID is 123456 and the price multiplier is 1.234.
Import Bookings to Beds24
To import bookings tick the Bookings check box and save.
- Log into 9flats and go to My Places -> Calendar. Scroll down to "Export 9flats Calendar"
- Copy your 9flats export calendar
- Paste your 9flats export calendar into Beds24`s "Export Calendar" field
Obsolete Ical Method
This method has been replaced by the method explained above

Limitations
- Prices cannot be exported and must be set in the 9Flats system.
- 9flats initiate the inventory update of their calendar, we cannot control how often they update their calendar.
- Past bookings are not imported.
- 9flats do not automatically reopen blocked dates. You might need to reopen them manually.
Setup
Export Inventory to 9flats
- Tick the Inventory checkbox to make your Beds24 availability calendar available to 9flats and save.
- Log into 9flats and go to My Places -> Calendar. Scroll down to the calendar import section and click on "Other" then click on " Other (ical format)"
- Copy the Beds24 Import Calendar URL and paste it into the field "Calendar link"
Import Bookings to Beds24
To import bookings tick the Bookings check box and save.
- Log into 9flats and go to My Places -> Calendar. Scroll down to "Export 9flats Calendar"
- Copy your 9flats export calendar
- Paste your 9flats export calendar into Beds24`s "Export Calendar" field
Disconnect
- Unticking "Inventory", "Prices" and "Bookings" will stop the synchronisation for a room.
- Log into your 9Flat extranet and delete the Beds24 URL.
